Dear Denise,
I wanted to send you a few pictures of my little Honey. He sure has been a blessing to me and my family.
He has adjusted extremely well to his new home. As you can see, he is absolutely beautiful!
He is very silly and does all sorts of crazy things when he plays. He'll take a flying leap off of the couch and land on the dog as he walks by, and he will lay on the floor behind him and play with his tail. Funny thing is, the dog just lays there and watches him do it.
He lets me clean his little eyes and clip his nails without flinching, but he hates to be brushed, although I force him to tolerate it!
And would you believe that he still tries to nurse. Sometimes he tries to do it with my sweater and sometimes it's with the blanket. One time I woke up and he was kneeding my pillow and sucking on my ear lobe. He purrs, kneeds, and roots, and he does it multiple times a day. I think that is so odd! Especially at 4 1/2 months old. Odd and unique, I guess that's why he fits in so well with my family!
I'll keep you updated on my dear little guy. By the way, his name is "Honey Love". That happened because we couldn't agree on a name and he started to respond to it when I would say, "Hi, my little honey love."
